ABOUT DAREIA JACOBS
A Life in Words
Dr. Dareia Jacobs is a TV and radio personality, author, educator, and successful entrepreneur with over ten years of experience in media and communications. She served as a radio personality for one of the nation's inspirational radio stations, Heaven 97 KHVN, and recently joined Philly's Favor 100.7 FM in Philadelphia.
Her energy, passion, charisma, and sense of humor capture a wide range of listeners, from youth to senior citizens of various backgrounds. Dareia is known for masterfully using her radio influence to empower, educate, and stir hearts with laughter.
As an educator, Dareia is deeply passionate about investing in the nation's youth. She serves as a transformational and inspirational conduit for students who lack motivation for learning.
Dareia graduated with a B.A. from Lane College, where she set her sights on excelling in the Mass Communications field, later earning her Ph.D. from Harvest Christian University in Mass Communication. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Dareia is progressively and intentionally climbing the ladder of success. She hosted her own show on The Word Network and is celebrated for her charisma, wit, and charm, both on and off the air. Her contributions to radio broadcasting have earned her numerous accolades, including a commendation from Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson and recognition in the 3rd and 7th editions of Who’s Who in Black Dallas Publication. In 2016, she ran for Judge in Dallas County as Justice of the Peace 4-2.
In addition to her work in media and education, Dareia is a successful restaurateur, owning Lil E BBQ and Wingspot in Pleasant Grove, Texas.
She is married to Pastor Bishop Eli Jacobs of Resurrection Body of Christ Church in Dallas, Texas. She treasures creating memories with her husband and best friend and being a mommy to their two sons, Eli Jr. and Emmanuel Jacobs.
